Thailand's economic performance in 2015 to-date has been disappointing. In its Monetary Policy Report that was released on 19 June, the Bank of Thailand (BOT) cited mainly unfavourable external factors as the reason for cutting its 2015 real GDP forecast significantly from 3.8% to 3.0%.
