Bisnode’s Mattias Aronsson nominated as CIO of the Year in Sweden

CIO Sweden magazine has chosen five candidates to compete for the title of CIO of the Year. Bisnode’s CIO Mattias Aronsson is one of the nominees. His work is central to Bisnode’s growth strategy, where IT supports both business and product development and drives synergy effects throughout Europe.

“IT and innovation combined with information are the core components of our offering. Mattias focuses on IT as a tool to stimulate our business and product development and promote our growth. By introducing new technologies supporting new user behaviours, we can develop cutting edge solutions. Mattias’ work is a key factor behind our success and he truly deserves the nomination as CIO of the Year,” says Johan Wall, President and CEO of Bisnode.

Bisnode’s core business is digital business information, which makes smart IT solutions a central part of business development. Mattias Aronsson and his employees contribute to the Bisnode Group’s growth among other things by ensuring that all 3,000 employees can effectively share information content, knowledge and product concepts with each other. This creates synergies that make it possible to further develop or reuse already successful services in new markets and to create whole new solutions.

“My focus is on driving the company’s growth and facilitating business development through the use of IT, rather than by simply cutting costs. With guidelines, follow-up and central initiatives, we ensure that technology and information content optimally support and drive business in the local markets. I am very pleased by the nomination and share the honour with my colleagues,” says Mattias Aronsson, CIO of Bisnode.
