In Norway there are 15 per cent women in the management groups
- and the obligated quota of 40 per cent women in the board of directors are also fulfilled
One of the biggest challenges in Norway has been to increase the number of women in the management groups. D&B Norway has done a research and analysis of women's parts in managements and board rooms. The analysis proofs that the obligation of 40 per cent women in the board of directors is fulfilled in the largest Norwegian companies (ASA companies). Also the analysis shows that 15 per cent of the management groups are women in Norway's 500 largest companies.
The same analysis also shows that changed their company registration from ASA to AS in the end of 2007 have shown decrease of 4.6 per cent of female board members.
