Bisnode divests holding in Qbrick
Bisnode has divested its holding of close to 14 per cent in Qbrick, Sweden’s leading provider of Web TV and streaming media solutions.
With customers like Voddler and Sveriges Television, Qbrick has positioned itself as a leading player in the fast-growing market for streaming services. Bisnode invested in Qbrick during 2000 and the sale will yield a minor capital gain on investment and a positive effect on the Group’s profit for 2009.
“The divestiture of Bisnode’s minority holding in Qbrick is as result of our strategy to streamline and focus our operations,” says Johan Wall, CEO of Bisnode.
The holding has been sold to current shareholders in the company.
